xiaoqin mai, professor

research area: emotion and social cognitive neuroscience

e-mailmaixq@ruc.edu.cn

research interests

i am a cognitive neuroscientist who uses non-invasive brain imaging techniques (e.g., erp, eeg, fmri and fnris) to understand the brain mechanisms that underline prosocial behaviors (e.g., fairness, cooperation, empathy, etc.), and the development of prosocial behaviors. i am also interested in understanding the mechanisms of anxiety caused by social comparison.
